Pinion, Inc.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of Pinion, Inc., a non-profit organization, to conduct charitable drives and social events within our local community to raise funds for its chosen recipient, Special Olympics Broward County and Victory Living Programs.

History

Pinion, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization formed in 1991. It has grown into an organization whose membership is comprised of a cross-section of tri-county business and community leaders. Over the past few years, Pinion's membership has continued to show impressive growth.

Since inception, Pinion has hosted regularly-scheduled social events, meetings and activities on behalf of Special Olympics. Pinion has become the financial arm of the Special Olympics, supporting the program with the funds needed to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in the program.

Through the years, Special Olympics has recognized Pinion, Inc. as the Local Support Organization of the Year and as The Premier Sponsor of Sports Training and Competition. SOBC has named its award "The Pinion, Inc. Local Organization of The Year Award in our honor. Through successful fundraising efforts Pinion has given the local program the opportunity to do more for these special individuals on a year-round basis.
