Broward County Athletes accomplish much more than winning on the sports field

Two of our athletes that are prime examples are:

BRANDON DRUCKER, who was just awarded the "Yes, I Can" award from the Council for Exception Children. The Yes I Can! Awards honor children and youth with disabilities who excel.Brandon is headed for Denver now.CONGRATULATIONS BRANDON !!!

LEE SCHARF, was nominated Grand Marshall for the 2011 Pompano Beach Yuletide Parade and rode in a red Corvette convertible during the parade and afterwards he was presented with a key to the city by the Mayor.WAY TO GO LEE !!!

Nearly $95,000 Raised for Special Olympics at Labor Day's Joe Jonas iWin 5K Fun Run/Walk  

More than 650 Jonas Brothers and Special Olympics fans raised nearly $95,000 for Special Olympics Florida on Labor Day (Mon. Sept. 6) at the Joe Jonas iWin 5K Fun Run/Walk, held on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie.
