Broward County Athletes accomplish much more than winning on the sports field

Two of our athletes that are prime examples are:

BRANDON DRUCKER, who was just awarded the "Yes, I Can" award from the Council for Exception Children. The Yes I Can! Awards honor children and youth with disabilities who excel.Brandon is headed for Denver now.CONGRATULATIONS BRANDON !!! LEE SCHARF, was nominated Grand Marshall for the 2011 Pompano Beach Yuletide Parade and rode in a red Corvette convertible during the parade and afterwards he was presented with a key to the city by the Mayor.WAY TO GO LEE !!!

Basketball Competition

December 17, 2011 Nova Southeastern Univ All Broward County teams, team skills and individual skills will compete at the County Basketball Tournament. January 14, 2012 Nova Southeastern Univ All Broward, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie County teams, team skills and individual skills will compete at the Area Basketball Tournament. February 3-4, 2012 Patrick AFB, Cocoa Beach Broward County teams, team skills and individual skills (quota) who took first place at the Area Tournament will compete at the State Basketball Tournament.

ALPINE SKIING COMMITMENT MEETING

The meeting will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the: SOBC OFFICE 3301 College Ave, Davie Sonken Modular East THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY FOR ANY ATHLETES AND COACHES WHO ARE INTERESTED PARTICIPATING IN THE 2011 - 2012 ALPINE SKIING PROGRAM. *Athletes who participated last year will pick up skis & boots at meeting. *New athletes will pick up on Saturday 10/22/11.
