In four years, Sallarulo’s Race for Champions 5K Run/Walk has raised over $1,600,000 for Special Olympics Broward County. We hope that through the generous support of our sponsors and supporters, we can raise another $700,000 this year.

Race for Champions Goals:
· Establish an annual fundraising event to benefit Special Olympics Broward County and establish a permanent home for Special Olympics Broward County.
· Educate the Broward community that Special Olympics is a year round program.
· Share the Athlete’s gifts, skills and friendship with our community.
Special Olympics Broward County ensures that the contributions of our sponsors is a solid investment in our community. Three-fourths of all companies involved with Special Olympics found their corporate image to be improved and enhanced.

To be a runner, walker or virtual runner all you have to do is register on http://www.firstgiving.com/raceforchampions. Pre-registration closes Friday, April 30, 2010 at 5:00PM. You can also register on-site, the day of the Race/Walk, beginning at 6:15 AM.

Race Day Schedule:
Registration & Packet Pick-up is from 6:15am to 7:55am. Race numbers and chips will only be distributed to those registered by 7:30am. The 5K Run/Walk will start at 8:00am. The Awards Ceremony will start at approximately 9:00am.
