SPECIAL OLYMPICS BROWARD COUNTY

TRAINING & COMPETITION SCHEDULE as of 5/07/13

MUST BE A REGISTERED SPECIAL OLYMPIC ATHLETE

There is no cost for any of these trainings.  Athletes from all agencies welcome.

****Aquatics ****

 Swim Season - June through October

Special Olympics does not provide beginning swim lessons.  Participants in S.O. swimming must already know how to swim.  Many local aquatics complexes provide beginning swim lessons for the special needs population.

Plantation Aquatic Complex (in Central Park) - 9151 NW 2nd Street, Plantation

Take Broward Blvd west past Pine Island Road.  Make a right turn on Central Park Drive (not Central Park Place).  Turn right into the Central Park complex and follow the signs to the Aquatics Complex.
